How does Arnica Salve work?

Arnica is considered a blood-moving or emmenagogue herb. It helps speed up bruise healing and sends fresh blood to strains, sprains, etc to support that healing process.

Three chemical constituents of the arnica plant are considered to be the active ingredients that produce its emmenagogue properties.

There are small studies on mice that show directional positive data for reducing inflammation when applied topically.

How to use

Apply directly to injuries and rub in gently.

Do not apply to open wound.
